The words PathKit uses, and what each one means.
| Word | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Board | One flow and everything on it |
| Screen | One artboard in the flow |
| Control | Something on a screen a person can tap |
| Wire | A connection from a control to the screen it leads to |
| Kind | What a screen is: entry, content, detail, transaction, terminal, overlay or system |
| State | A screen in a particular condition, like loading or empty |
| Ghost | A screen or state that is in the flow but was never drawn |
| Check | One of the 16 rules PathKit runs |
| Suggestion | What a check found, as a thread pinned to a place |
| Fold | One row in the rail for a finding that repeats across screens |
| Editor | A member who changes boards, and a paid seat |
| Viewer | A member who reads and comments, never counted |
