The screen checks
Seven checks that read what is on each screen, from facts a model read off the artwork.
The model only reports what it sees, as facts: there are two fields, this list can be empty, this button deletes. Ordinary rules then decide what is missing, so every suggestion can be traced to something on the artwork.
EC-201 Takes typing, no error
A screen with input and nowhere to show a mistake. Important when a field is required.
EC-202 Can be empty, no empty state
Something on the screen can hold nothing, and there is no screen for that.
EC-203 Fetches, no loading state
Content arrives over the network and nothing shows while it does.
EC-204 Fetches, cannot fail or go offline
Content arrives over the network and there is neither an error nor an offline state.
EC-205 Delete with no confirm
A destructive control with nothing leading to a confirmation. Always important.
EC-206 A button wired to nothing
A control visible on the screen that the flow has never heard of.
EC-207 Filed as one thing, looks like another
The screen's kind disagrees with what it looks like, so the states it owes may be the wrong ones.
