The board

Notes and code cards

The graph says what happens. A note says why, and a code card says what the step turns into.

Notes and code cards stand free on the board, so they sit in the gutter beside the step they explain. Both survive every import.

  • Note. A title and a few sentences: the reasoning, a decision, a question for the team.
  • Code card. A title, a language label and the code a step calls, so an engineer sees the screen and its call together.

Every screen also takes a description: one sentence under the frame that says what the step is for.
